Bromine buoys Q2 income for Gulf Resources

Average bromine prices saw double-digit increases in Q2 against the same period in 2015, while both chemicals and crude salt suffered from weaker revenues amid sluggishness in the Chinese economy.

Chinese bromine, crude salt and speciality chemical products manufacturer Gulf Resources posted a 4% decline in total net revenues in the second quarter of 2016, as its bromine segment fared positively while salt and chemicals struggled.
