Canpotex to extend supply contract to India

Potash marketing JV Canpotex will likely extend its supply agreement with India as fertiliser buyers in the country receive their delayed government subsidy.

North American fertiliser joint venture (JV) Canpotex is likely to extend the duration of its existing three-month potash supply contract with India, a source close to the deal told IM on 24 August.  

"The contract is only for three months but it will be extended," said the source.
