Chromite prices hold amid firm demand, rising enquiries

Demand for foundry grade chromite sand is seen as slowly improving while suppliers of chemical grade product are holding onto their prices as Q4 contract negotiations are soon to take place.

Prices for non-metallurgical chromite remain firm on the back of progressive upticks in met grade product, which has been appreciating steadily over the past two quarters.
