Ilmenite price rises expected to continue

Increased activity in titanium dioxide pigments and tighter supply in ilmenite is continuing to lift prices. Sources have indicated that higher activity is also occurring in higher grade rutile.

As activity in titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigments continues to pick up, sales and prices of raw materials such as rutile and ilmenite are expected to continue strengthening.
