Nabaltec ups hydroxide prices by almost 10%

The flame retardants manufacturer cited tightness in supply following the closure of US operations and an increase in demand as reasons driving the price increase for its alumina trihydrate. The company expects the ATH market to appreciate next year.

German speciality refractory materials maker Nabaltec AG will increase the prices of its fine precipitated aluminium hydroxide (or alumina trihydrate) products by 9.5% from next year, the company announced on 12 September.
