EFSA finds no health concerns for food grade TiO2

The European Food Safety Authority has concluded that there is no information in existing data indicating that the ingestion of TiO2 is harmful. The authority has however recommended that further studies are carried out.
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has completed its
re-evaluation of food colouring, concluding that there is no
information to indicate health concerns over titanium dioxide
(TiO2) in food.
