Excess supply keeps graphite prices down

Graphite producers have received few enquiries over the past week as excess supply, excessive capacity and growing competition looms large over the weak trading environment.

Prices for natural flake graphite grades remained stable at current low levels as producers see limited activity to pitch in higher offers to end consumers.
