China’s fluorspar prices fall on low demand

Falling demand for acid grade fluorspar has compelled Chinese suppliers to decrease their offers approaching autumn, a period likely to see lower trades amid intense competition, as metspar prices follow suit.

The price of acid grade fluorspar (acidspar) from China for 97% CaF2, wet filtercake material dropped by 3.63% last week to an average of $265/tonne FOB from the levels of $275/tonne last week.

This is the second consecutive drop seen in the last two weeks as Chinese suppliers...
