Hindalco to divest Brazilian alumina operation

The development could reshape the Indian-based minerals and metal producer's supply of non-metallurgical alumina out of Latin America, which serves the chemicals, ceramics and refractory industry.

Indian aluminium group Hindalco Industries Ltd is looking to divest its alumina operations in Brazil, comprising both extraction and processing assets, sources at the company confirmed to IM.
