China to accelerate green mining development

The Chinese minister of land and resources has said that the government is committed to developing an environmental friendly mining industry, and it will press ahead with plans to eliminate overcapacity and stockpiles.

China will continue to reform and upgrade the environmental standards of its domestic mining industry, the minister of land and resources Jiang Daming said at the annual 18th China mining forum in Tianjin on 23 September.
