KGLL seeks partnership for graphite value addition

Sri Lanka’s major graphite producer, Kahatagaha Graphite Lanka Limited, has rebutted claims that it is planning to sell off a 49% stake in its mine. The company is, however, seeking a business partner(s) for graphite value addition, KGLL's chairman told Industrial Minerals.

Sri Lanka-based 100% government-owned vein graphite producer, Kahatagaha Graphite Lanka Limited (KGLL), is seeking an alliance with potential investors in order to bring further value addition to its high grade vein graphite, KGLL’s Chairman, AL. Haj. M. Abdhul Majeed told IM.
