Rising internal costs in China and a parallel slowdown in European refractory demand may be denting the ability of Chinese suppliers to keep prices down.

Chinese suppliers of refractory products to Europe may be losing their competitive edge in pricing as companies are less able to hit the market with low offers, sources told IM today at the Tecnargilla ceramics trade show in Rimini, Italy.
