Chinese titanium industry sees positive growth in H1

Figures presented by China's Nonferrous Industry Association at the 25th China Western Goods Trade Fair show increasing output and higher prices for titanium products in China including titanium slag and ilmenite.

China’s ilmenite imports increased 18% year-on-year (y-o-y) in H1 2016 to 1.15m tonnes, while ilmenite exports fell 3% to 7,262 tonnes in the first half of the year, according to figures from China’s Nonferrous Industry Association.
