China’s flake graphite exports jump in August 2016

Trade Review: Natural flake graphite exports from China rose by 42.1% in August over the previous month leading total exports for the first eight months up by 0.6% vs. 2015; export values and average prices, however, displayed a sloping trend.

China’s exports of flake graphite, for the period of January-August 2016, remained relatively steady at 70,924 tonnes, up marginally by 0.6% year-over-year (y-o-y), but the value of the material exported dropped by 7.4% y-o-y, according to the China Customs Data.
