Producers play a waiting game with 2017 lithium contracts

Some indication that 2017 contracts may be on similar levels to current quarterly contracts as Mt Cattlin delay frustrates the market.

Lithium producers are largely holding off on making offers for 2017 contracts, IM heard this week.

Buyers in North America and Japan maintained that sellers were reluctant to make hard offers, though some were indicating broad possible price ranges.
