Iodine prices slip as suppliers vie for space

Competition for market share between Chilean producers continues to push prices down.
The price of iodine on spot and contract
deals dropped again this week, continuing a downward trajectory
last
felt in late August.
Market participants pointed to dynamics in
South America where major producers continue to compete for
