US calls on WTO to review China’s export caps

Trade authorities in the US have requested the World Trade Organization to advance the settlement of disputes over China’s export restraints on key industrial raw materials that are claimed to be putting American businesses at a disadvantage.

The United States Trade Representative (USTR) office has urged the World Trade Organization (WTO) to set up a dispute settlement panel to examine and take a final call on China’s export restraints pertaining to duties and quotas on 11 industrial raw materials....
