Rio borates production increases as demand rises

Borates output grew on the back of strong market activity. TiO2 production also increased year-on-year, while salt output remained relatively stable.
Rio Tinto Minerals, the non-metallic wing
of Anglo Australian miner Rio Tinto Plc, saw borates production
increase 14% in Q3, "primarily driven by higher market
demand".
The 132,000 tonnes produced in the third quarter put total
