TZMI 2016: TiO2 supply/demand to balance in 2017

Research consultancy TZMI believes that titanium dioxide supply and demand fundamentals will be balance in 2017 but warns that producers still need discipline in production and will need to avoid price wars to maintain the cycle.

Titanium dioxide (TiO2) supply and demand fundamentals will become balanced in mid or late 2017, independent research firm TZ Minerals International (TZMI) consultancy said at its annual congress in Hong Kong on 9 November.
