PPG completes sale of Asian fibre glass JV

PPG has completed the divestment of its 50%-owned PFG Fiber Glass company to its JV partner Nan Ya Plastics for approximately $170m as the company continues the restructuring to streamline its business, marking a move away from glass and a focus on chemicals and paints.

US-based paints and glass manufacturer PPG has completed the sale of its 50% ownership interest in its two PFG Fiber Glass joint ventures to fellow owner Nan Ya Plastics Corp. for around $170m.
