Lithium prices fuel SQM Q3 revenue jump

A 28% jump in lithium prices drove an increase in revenue for the Chilean producer, while it continued to increase iodine sales volumes as prices dropped further.

Chile’s Sociedad Quimica y Minera SA (SQM) more than doubled its lithium revenue in Q3 2016 versus the same period last year, as overall revenue rose 13%.
