Vesuvius buys Brazilian flux operation

The takeover is aimed at strengthening Vesuvius’ division of Steel Flow Control, and was funded through existing financial resources.

LSE-listed refractory maker Vesuvius Plc has acquired a Brazil-based mold and flux business for £9.2m ($11.3m), the company announced on 22 December.
