China to strengthen support for graphene development

As part of the “Made in China 2025” initiative set to roll out in the next five years, the Chinese government has announced that it will expand its support to bring about breakthroughs in new material research and applications.

China will roll out a series of projects to promote new materials including graphene development and application, the ministry of industry and information technology (MIIT) said on 23 January.
