Cosayach to restart potassium nitrate production

After a number of years keeping its plant idle, one of the world’s largest iodine producers will move back into the potassium nitrates market. This may offset the costs of iodine production while prices remain weak.

Chilean iodine producer Cosayach will restart production of potassium nitrates in March, following five years out of the market.
