Dead Sea Work to compensate potash buyers in Israel

The potash division of Tel Aviv-based ICL was ordered by Israeli central court to pay compensation for past purchases to a group of buyers and contract prices for the next seven years will also be capped.

Dead Sea Works Ltd (DSW), a subsidiary of Israel Chemicals Ltd (ICL), was ordered by Israeli court to pay around $5.5m compensation to a group of buyers of past potash purchases in the country, ICL said on 1 February.
