Lanxess raises inorganic pigment prices

The German speciality chemicals producer said it will raise its iron oxide and chrome oxide prices with immediate effect.

Speciality chemicals supplier Lanxess plans to raise its price for iron oxides and chrome oxides with immediate effect, subject to existing contracts.

Part of the company’s inorganic pigments business, iron oxide pigments will increase by €140/tonne ($148/tonne) while chrome oxide pigments...
