Yangtze river congestion delays BFA shipments

Congestion at the three Gorges lock in the Yantze river in China is causing delivery delays in brown fused alumina, which has further compounded supply tightness in Europe.

Severe traffic congestion at a key shipping point in the Yangtze river is delaying some brown fused alumina deliveries from China, market sources told IM.
