Global antimony trioxide spot prices spike again

Global antimony spot prices jumped higher this week as supply concerns persist in the market due to the Chinese governments anti-pollution crack down.

Amid concerns that more smelters will be shut down in China global antimony prices have risen by as much as $400 week-on-week.

China accounts for 80% of global antimony supply and the intensifying clamp down on polluting smelters has cut production in recent months.
