Chromite prices stable as South African output drops

Chromite production in South Africa decreased further at the end of last year as market prices have remained stable amid quiet trade.

Chromite spot prices held firm this week as trading activity remains subdued in the chromite market as price levels are holding firm against previous weeks, while mine output in South Africa posted a further decline in December.
