BFA, bauxite deliveries may be disrupted in Q2, suppliers say

Some deliveries of brown fused alumina and bauxite contracts may not arrive in May and April, as a result of the ongoing production problems in China, a number of suppliers have told IM. Most European consumers are also not fully covered in the short term, and suppliers are also seeing quality issues.

Suppliers have warned that some China-origin brown fused alumina and bauxite contract deliveries could fail to materialise in the coming months, as strict environmental measures continue to disrupt production.
