Dry bulk freight rate to rise in 2017: MSI

UK-based shipping consultant MSI told delegates at the Roskill's 2017 Salt conference that dry bulk freight rate will increase in 2017, but any policy change in China could cause volatility in shipping costs.

Dry bulk freight rates will rise in 2017 amid improving global trade and fewer new vessels, shipping consultant Maritime Strategies International Ltd (MSI) said 28 March at the conference in Dusseldorf, Germany.
