Chinese refractory products output falls in 2016

China’s output of refractory products (excluding source materials) continues to fall.

Total production stood at 23.91m tonnes in 2016, down 8.56% year-on-year (y-o-y), according to the Association of China Refractories Industry, which released its industry summary at the annual meeting in Tangshan on 23-25 March.
Dense shaped refractory output was 13.58m tonnes, down 11.08% y-o-y; insulation refractory output was 467,200 tonnes, down 1.32% y-o-y;...
