Indian mineral index grows 3% in February

Larger output of coal boosted the index for the month, as well as industrial minerals including bauxite and chromite.

India’s mineral production index rose 3.3% in February against the same time last year on the back of increases in output of coal, bauxite, chromite, zinc and lead concentrate.
