TOR Minerals returns to profitability in 2016

The company returned into positive territory following a net loss of over $6m in 2015, on the back of higher sales of alumina despite revenues from both TiO2 and barium sulphate decreased.

US speciality materials manufacturer TOR Minerals International Inc. recorded a strong increase in speciality alumina sales in 2016 while titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigment revenues showed a substantial decline.
