Mexichem records higher sales in Q1

Mexichem's fluent division continues to see lower profit levels as the transition towards higher-value segments continues, while its vinyl business benefited from most of the increase in demand and prices.

Mexican fluorochemical producer Mexichem SAB de CV saw a 10% decline in net profit in the first quarter of 2017 while revenues and EBITDA increased on the back of higher demand and prices in some product lines.
