The price hike follows four increases in the first quarter of 2017 during which time the company recorded a huge jump in profits. Meanwhile other Chinese titanium dioxide producers, Jilin GPRO Titanium Industry and Annada Titanium Dioxide, posted higher sales revenues and profits in Q1.
Lomon Billions Group Co. adjusted its TiO2 prices upwards
with immediate effect on April 25 due to short supply in
China.
The company raised the domestic price of both sulfuric acid
route and chloride route TiO2 by Chinese renminbi 700/tonne and
moved exports prices up by $150/tonne.
