Environmental constraints push up antimony trioxide prices in China

The global antimony trioxide 99.5% Sb2O3 market has risen by $50/tonne in China as ongoing environmental restrictions continue to hamper production.

Constant environmental controls across the main Chinese antimony provincial hubs of Hunan and Guangxi have led prices upwards in China, according to IM's price assessment on 9 May.

Chinese authorities are cracking down on producers that fail inspections including Chinese Hsikwangshan Twinkling Star which has been leading fined and had workers arrested...
