Ilmenite, rutile prices hold firm

Titanium dioxide feedstock materials ilmenite and rutile saw no changes to prices over the past week.

Ilmenite prices have continued to hold tight throughout the week despite talk of lower offers in China.

Though several market participants said prices are softening due to ilmenite-stockpiling in China, trades are yet to be confirmed below $200/tonne CIF China.
