China's soda ash exports drop in April

The quantity and value of soda ash exported from China fell substantially in April, the latest data from customs officials reveals.

Soda ash exports from China totalled 114,587 tonnes in April, down 32.3% year-on-year (y-o-y) and down 5.49% month-on-month (m-o-m), according to data from China Customs.

The top seven destination countries are all in Asia: South Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Bangladesh, and Japan.
