The Chinese antimony trioxide market softened over the course of the past week as a consequence of persisting depressed demand.
While supply looks set to increase after Twinkling Star restarted production early this week, suppliers looking to offload material as Europe and the US enter the summer holiday period was said to be the main reasons behind prices declining.
Spot antimony trioxide prices in China decreased by $120
week-on-week according to IM's 13 June market
assessment.
