Graphite demand improving as Chinese producers brace for inspections

Western suppliers report rising inflow of enquiries for several graphite grades, while environmental inspections in China are now reaching Shandong province, where many graphite operations are located, with potential consequences on supply.

Graphite demand is improving, according to western suppliers, while Chinese producers warn of potential supply disruptions in mining and processing areas and say price upticks may be on the cards.
