Zircon stable in tightening market while bulk rutile price dips

Zircon market participants expect prices to rise in Q4 on tightening supply and increased demand. Meanwhile, the gap between bag and bulk rutile prices has widened on a temporary spike in bulk supply.

Zircon prices were stable this week but markets are reportedly tightening on increased demand, according to market sources.

Prices for zircon premium grade bulk CIF China were unchanged at $1,030-1,100/t.
