Ilmenite prices dip

The price of ilmenite going to China fell below $200 for the first time since April this week.

Sulphate ilmenite prices to China have fallen amid "nearly non-existent" demand, combined with the perception of previously unsustainably high prices in the country.

The lull in trading activity was attributed by some market participants to suppliers holding back from the market...
