Zircon, rutile prices boost Base Resources revenue

Rising mineral sand prices support revenues from Base Resources' Kwale operation.

Mineral sands producer Base Resources ascribed record revenues from its Kwale mineral sands operations in Kenya to continued improvement in market prices.

While Base did not disclose revenue numbers it said rising prices supported a record revenues to cost of sales ratio of 2.9.
