Chinese ilmenite mine closures support market

Chinese domestic ilmenite prices were supported by "positive economic sentiment" and the closure of numerous small mines, but seaborne trade have not been impacted so far.

Chinese domestic ilmenite prices are strengthening on perceived "positive economic sentiment from the Chinese government", and the closure of numerous small ilmenite mines in Sichuan province, market participants told IM.
