Rising mineral sand prices buoy Iluka profits

Higher zircon and rutile prices have supported ASX-listed Iluka's profit in the first half of 2017, while the producer expect restocking to continue for the rest of the year.

Australia-based mineral sands group Iluka Resources reported rising revenues, supported by increasing prices for both rutile and zircon, the company said on 24 July.
