Orbite seeks to extend creditor protection period

The high-purity alumina manufacturer wants its stay of proceeding status extended until November, as it seeks the green light to pursue more debt.

Canadian high-purity alumina (HPA) producer Orbite Technologies Inc. has applied to bankruptcy authorities to extend its current period of creditor protection, while it seeks the approval of further debt financing to revert its insolvency situation.
