Saint-Gobain boosts sales, profits in H1

Demand for flat glass and construction materials continued to rise in the first half of the year, as the several acquisitions carried out by the company over the past year led to positive group effect and injected extra turnover.

French construction, glass and refractory materials group Saint-Gobain SA posted an increase in sales and profit in the first half of 2017, on the back of higher volumes traded and price upticks.
