Baker Hughes strikes downbeat note on drilling prospects

Growth in US drilling is set to slow, the oifield services company says, while outside the US activity remains muted.

The boom in North American drilling activity is likely to slow in the second half of this year, oilfield services provider Baker Hughes, which is now part of General Electric Co, said.
