Turkey’s ramp up will not pressure soda ash prices – Eti Soda

Capacity expansion at Turkey’s only natural soda ash producer Eti Soda will be completed in August. Ahead of the production increase, there are widespread market worries of excess supply dragging prices down, but the producer dismissed the concern on the ground that there is still insufficient global availability.

The large ramp up in natural soda ash production in Turkey this year will not pressure global prices, producer Eti Soda told IM.
